Avenue A Position Summary The Benefits Analyst attracts and retains employees by researching and explaining benefit programs. Analyzes and provides recommendations to employer benefit practices by benchmarking best practices; researching industry and employment trends; tracking legislation and estimating impact. Utilizes survey data to recommends benefit programs, policies, procedures, in order to be responsive to the organization's goals and competitive practices. Monitors benefits program for consistent administration in compliance with company policies and government regulations. Coordinate and process hospital-wide benefit program for all employees from date of hire to termination consisting of enrollments, status changes, insurance claims, monthly billings, leaves of absence, education reimbursement programs, and COBRA; assist employees with benefit and leave of absence questions and issues. Professional certification in Human Resources. External Experience Analytical experience utilizing spreadsheet or database software. Must be computer proficient.
